The coarse section is suited to reducing length and thickness in gel, acrylic and hybrid artificial nails. The fine section can then be used to smooth the worked surface and complete the finish. The straight cylinder shape provides a flat contact area for working across larger artificial nail surfaces, supporting a continuous workflow during nail modelling.

The shank diameter is 2.332–2.350 mm. This Promed bit is compatible with Promed nail drill devices with a 2.35 mm collet, including Promed 1030, 2020, 3030-X, 4030-SX2, 4040, 5040-SX2, 525, 625, 725, 825, Ultra Pro S, Emotion and Sensitive. The recommended operating speed is up to 20,000 rpm.

The bit can be autoclaved at 121–134 °C or cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. Work with an even movement and minimal pressure on artificial nail material.
